"I will appeal to the Governor to convene a meeting within a week and recommend for dissolution of the state Assembly, in case no political party comes forward with adequate number to form a government," BJP state president Raghuvar Das told a press conference in Jamshedpur.

Das said he hoped that the governor "will not repeat the mistakes committed by his predecessors" and recommend dissolution of the Assembly immediately. He expressed apprehension that horse-trading would be encouraged if the Assembly was kept under suspension for a long period.
