At the function jointly organised by All India State Bank of Indore Officers Coordination Committee and All India State Bank of Indore Employees Coordination Committee, the speakers said that the Indore bank should have an independent and separate identity.

All India Bank Officers Association national president Alok Khare threw light on the need for State Bank of Indore to be made a separate bank and said that the decision to make the Indore Bank an associate of the State Bank of India under the Associate Bank Act, 1959 was made under different circumstances.
