Amisha Patel’s list of successes in Bollywood may not be too long but her recent catwalk on the ramp in the Capital, for a jewellery show, did win her some accolades. If her élan impressed you, her confession will stump you. “I hate walking on the ramp. The fear of tripping over the clothes or the jewellery coming off makes me really nervous. Sadly, there are no retakes here, but the crowd’s cheering does make up for it,” she says.

Her overnight stardom post KahoNa Pyaar Hai… and Gadar’s super success fast faded into oblivion. But the actress is hopeful of getting back on the track with Farhan Akhtar’s Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. “I am really looking forward to it,” she says. Though it is a multi-starrer, she says, “My role in the film is pretty strong. I believe that good scripts make good films and the script of Honeymoon… did impress me.” In this December release, Amisha shares screen space with Shabana Azmi, Abhay Deol, Minissha Lamba, Kay Kay Menon, Karan Khanna and Boman Irani among others.

With no regrets about the way her career has shaped up, she says, “We all have our good and bad days but the trick is to keep moving.”
