The downpour is lashing the financial capital for the last couple of days has subsided since Tuesday night. The Colaba observatory (in the city) recorded only 16.2 mm and Santacruz (in suburbs) 21.3 mm rainfall till 8.30 am on Wednesday.
Meteorological department has forecast rain or thundershowers accompanying with gusty winds in parts of the Mumbai and its suburbs.
The maximum temperature is likely to be 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum 24 degrees Celsius.
