On Monday, around 12 more suspected patients of dengue were admitted to KGMU’s department of paediatric and medicine, Balrampur Hospital and Vivekananda Polyclinic. Meanwhile, taking note of the growing demand for platelets Vivekananda Polyclinic has arranged for on the spot separation of platelets from the blood of a donor.

Platelet is available with the State Blood bank at KGMU, SGPGIMS, Vivekananda Polyclinic and two private pathology and blood banks in the city.

Meanwhile, a lecture on dengue would be organised at the IMA Bhavan on October 13. Experts would discuss in detail about the disease, treatment and its diagnosis. See also Page 3
