After meeting Chief Election Commissioner TS Krishnamurti, he said the Commission had assured him all help in the matter.
Rajnikant, who enjoys considerable fan following in the state, is at loggerheads with PMK leader S Ramadoss and had recently asked his followers to work against PMK nominees in six constituencies.
His fans association had also approached the Election Commission demanding "strong action" against PMK leader for an alleged attack by his men on the actor's supporters in Madurai early this month.
Asked whether he would support AIADMK leader Jayalalitha, Rajnikant said "I am not supporting anybody. I have made my stand clear and everything is in the hands of people."
