Ten people, including two women, were killed and seven others injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a truck in Moradabad district on Tuesday, police said.

The accident occurred on NH-24 near Garib Nawaz Dhaba area, about 13 kms from Moradabad, when the wheat-ladded truck hit the car, going to Rampur, leaving ten people dead, they said.

The seven injured passengers were admitted to a government hospital where their condition was stated to be stable, they added.
