Train services hit on Sat; mega block today

Services on Western Railway and the Central Railway faced minor disruptions on Saturday after two trains, one on each line, reported troubles with the overhead pantograph.

On Sunday, both WR and CR will enforce a mega block for maintenance work. On WR, all slow line trains on the up route will run on the fast line between Santacruz and Mumbai Central and will not halt at Matunga Road, Elphinstone Road, Lower Parel and Mahalaxmi.
On CR, the block will be operated from 11.30am to 4pm between Kalyan and Thane. Fast trains leaving Kalyan during this time will be diverted on the slow line.
