Start UG medical classes for next year without completion of exams: MUHS

  • Amidst constant delays that has plagued the undergraduate medical education system in the state, the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has informed all affiliated colleges to not waste time any further.
The university has asked all colleges to conduct academic activities from the next academic year at present, even though final exams for the second and third year batches are yet to be conducted for the current academic year.(ANI)

MUHS UG and PG medical exams for winter session to begin from January 4

Maharashtra health sciences university exams from August 17: HC declines stay on exam

Bombay High Court on Friday refused to stay the final year dental (BDS) and post-graduate medical exams scheduled to be conducted by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) later this month. As per the petition, the final year BDS exams are scheduled to begin from August 17, while the PG medical exam is slated for August 25.

MH-CET medical allotment second list for undergraduate to be released today

The list, which was supposed to be released on Monday, was delayed due to new seats being added for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. These seats were recently approved and officials from the state common entrance test (CET) cell said the new seats will have to be added to the existing seat matrix.

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) Board held a meeting recently during which it submitted its report to the Registrar of MUHS asking them to remove the contents about “virginity test” from the medical curriculum of fMBBS course on the ground that it has no scientific basis.
