Man pays ₹150 for 'chilly dusted gold fingers' at Indiranagar pub, gets fryums instead: 'You've been royally robbed'
A man shared his experience at Indiranagar pub, where he ordered “chilly dusted gold fingers,” but was surprised when the dish turned out to be fryums.
A visit to a popular Bengaluru pub has sparked discussion online after a customer claimed he was served fryums instead of what sounded like a more elaborate dish on the menu.

The incident came to light after X user Arunraj Pattar shared his experience at a pub in Indiranagar. According to his post, he ordered an item listed as “chilly dusted gold fingers,” priced at ₹150, but was surprised when the dish turned out to be what appeared to be fryums.
Sharing a picture of the menu and the dish he received, Pattar wrote, “It was called chilly dusted gold fingers. This is what they brought to me when I ordered it. In Indiranagar Toit.” In a follow-up post, he added, “First in my bloodline to pay ₹150 for this.”

“Buddy if you didn’t know that ‘goldfingers’ is what these things are called, that’s just your ignorance. No one else to blame here,” commented another.
“It's called ‘Boti’ in local lingo. They must have bought it from next door petty shop for ₹5/- and heated in a microwave and served you,” jokingly wrote one user.
