Yemen President Takes Jibe At Iran In UNGA Speech, Demands Action To Dry Up Funding For Houthis

Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen, called on September 26 for increased international pressure to dry up sources of funding for Houthi rebels. Addressing the UNGA, al-Alimi also called for curbing “the flow of Iranian weapons” into Yemen.
