49 killed as US plane crashes into home
Several people were killed, including one on the ground, when a commercial plane carrying 48 people crashed into a house outside Buffalo, New York and burst into flames, officials said. Officials declined to confirm reports that all 48 people on the plane were killed, saying only it was "undetermined" if there were any survivors.

An Erie County official said Continental Airlines flight 3407 crashed at 10:20 pm (0320 GMT) in the town of Clarence, New York, about five minutes before it was due to land at the Buffalo aiport.
Officials declined to confirm reports that all 48 people on the plane were killed, saying only it was "undetermined" if there were any survivors.
US media showed footage of the still-burning wreckage in the center of a residential neighborhood.
