Art objects fashioned from recycled glass is displayed in a showroom at the Kitengela glassworks, 30km southwest of Nairobi. If you visit Nani Croze’s glassworks, you might mistake it for a wonderland. The glassworks compound is a world of outsize sculptures, shiny mosaic paths and psychedelic buildings with wonky balconies that would not be out of place in Barcelona’s Parc Guell.
