The Punjab government on Friday transferred eight Punjab Police Service (PPS) officers with immediate effect.
Gurmail Singh has been posted as deputy superintendent of police (DSP), special detective, Dhuri; Navjot Singh as DSP, city, Gurdaspur; Surinderpal Singh as DSP, detective, Barnala; Kamalpreet Singh as DSP, special detective, Muktsar; Harvinder Singh as DSP, joint interrogation centre, Amritsar; Sarabjit Singh as DSP, intelligence wing, Chandigarh headquarters; and Jagdeep Singh as DSP, intelligence, Chandigarh headquarters.
Barjinderpal Singh has been posted as DSP, intelligence wing, Chandigarh.
