The city received a brief spell of rain and thundershowers on Wednesday.

The city received a brief spell of rain and thundershowers on Wednesday.

According to a senior Met official, the rain was a result of a local development due to high temperature from the last few days.
The maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded as 34.6 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal. The minimum was recorded as 17 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.
The temperature in the coming days is expected to be between 33-30 degrees Celsius.
