One such idea that the party’s spin doctors have hit upon is Sandesh Vahan — a white Maruti van with two flat screen television belting out the party’s achievement in the last 10 years.
They have been set to the tune of popular Bollywood song ‘Bande mein hain dam, Vande Mataram’ from the movie Lage Raho Munnabhai. The party has used the lyrics ‘Congress ka pran, seva hi hai dharm’.
Through the song, the party will showcase its achievement like construction of flyovers, metro rail and various social welfare scheme launched by the government.
The van is plastered with posters of national leaders including Congress president Sonia Gandhi, PM Manmohan Singh, DPCC president Jai Prakash Aggarwal and Sheila Dikshit. Ajay Vinayak, who works for the party's media cell, has designed the vehicle.
