A division bench of justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Rajiv Shakdher directed JMI to file an affidavit to the plea filed by Hamidur Rehman, a final year student, within four weeks. March 18 is the next date of hearing.
The petitioner said, “JMI has not been conducting and allowing polls since 2006 despite representations made by students to various authorities, including the V-C.”
