The flyover is a part of corridor improvement of the 3.6-kilometre UP Link Road, connecting NH-24 near Akshardham temple with Noida. The project also includes a double-carriageway flyover covering two traffic junctions and a small bridge on a canal near Chilla Regulator.
Delhi PWD minister Raj Kumar Chauhan said the UP Link Road would be signal free before the Commonwealth Games.
Costing Rs.334 crore, the project is expected to be complete by July 2010.
