The incident took place at the MCD school situated in Madanpur Khadar Phase-II.

"About nine students complained of nausea after having mid-day meal. They were taken to a nearby nursing home. All students have gone home after treatment," an MCD official said.

The school has a strength of 1254, out of which 911 students were present today.

"Though only a few students were affected, we wanted to be sure about the food quality and have sent the sample to Sri Ram Institute for Industrial Research for testing. The mid-day meal is supplied to the school by ISKCON, which has a good reputation," the official said.
