In Delhi, usually, the last week of May is the hottest time of the summer. This summer, however, has been different.

Last year, the temperature touched 45.5 degrees Celsius on May 25. It was the hottest of the summer of 2015.

According to the weatherman, the city has been witnessing light rain and dust storms continuously for the past week. This has brought down temperatures in the city.

“Rain in the hills of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand have had an impact on the temperatures in Delhi. The coming two days are also expected to see light rain, but the end of the week will see temperatures soar again,” said a Met official.
