Three members of a family were rendered unconscious at their Sector-15A home in Faridabad after their domestic help allegedly gave them food laced with an intoxicant. HT reports.

Three members of a family were rendered unconscious at their Sector-15A home in Faridabad after their domestic help allegedly gave them food laced with an intoxicant.

According to the police, the incident occurred during the intervening night of December 31 and January 01, after Satish Bhatia, his mother Kamlesh Bhatia and his sister Meenakshi had finished dinner.

"We received a complaint from Meenakshi alleging that their domestic help Shankar, a resident of Nepal, has fled with some valuables after giving them food laced with an intoxicating substance," said Ajeet Singh, station house officer, central police station.

"A case has been registered and a hunt launched for Shankar, the domestic help," Singh added.
