The bash had a high profile turnout — right from industrialists and politicians to artists and sports personalities. The politicos at the do, among others, included Union HRD Minister Kapil Sibal, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister of Power Sushil Kumar Shinde, Congress leaders Ahmed Patel and Rajeev Shukla, SP leader Amar Singh, MP and Chairperson HT Media Ltd Shobhana Bhartia, BJP leaders Arun Jaitley, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Vijay Goel. The artistes brigade was represented by filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj and singer wife Rekha, poet Gulzar, sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan with wife Subhalakshmi and sons Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan, and actor Jas Arora. Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India Shahid Malik also came with wife Ghazala. Industrialists Peter Punj, Rajan Mittal, Suresh Nanda, and media persons Barkha Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesai and Sagarika Ghose too were spotted having a good time.
