Lavigne and Jenner, Kim Kardashian's half-brother, started dating shortly after the 27-year-old singer divorced husband, rocker Deryck Whibley, at the end of 2009, reported People magazine.

"They decided to end their relationship... She wanted to settle down, but he wasn't exactly ready. They had been having problems starting in the summer with her tour because she was on the road all the time. It put a strain on their relationship," a source said.

Lavigne and Jenner have yet to comment on the split reports.
