Ahaan Panday dances with Musafir Cafe star Vedika Pinto in old video: ‘Better chemistry than him and Aneet Padda'
Fans are praising the chemistry between Ahaan Panday and Vedika Pinto following a dance video from his sister's wedding.
Actor Ahaan Panday may have won fans over with his Bollywood debut Saiyaara, but a recent video of the actor dancing with Musafir Cafe star Vedika Pinto has caught the internet’s attention for a different reason. As fans continue to ship Ahaan with his Saiyaara co-star Aneet Padda, the new video has sparked speculation about his chemistry with Vedika.

In the clip, which is going viral on social media, Ahaan and Vedika can be seen dancing to Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic song Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh from the 1959 film Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai, with lyrics by Shailendra. The two are seen performing a romantic dance as the crowd cheers them on. While Vedika is dressed in a golden lehenga, Ahaan looks dapper in a black formal suit.
Fans were quick to react to the video, with many praising the duo’s chemistry. One fan wrote, “Can picture them in a potential rom-com.” Another gushed, “This is such a beautiful genuine picture. Oh, they have chemistry! Haven’t seen great chemistry in the new lot.” A third commented, “They look better than him with Aneet.” Another wrote, “Ngl, both look great together.” One more comment read, “The chemistry is through the roof.”
While Ahaan made his Bollywood debut in 2025 with Saiyaara, Vedika entered the industry earlier with the romantic thriller Operation Romeo. She later featured in Gumraah alongside Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur. Her role in Nishaanchi further brought her recognition, and she is now being seen in the Netflix series Musafir Cafe.
In the show, Vedika essays the role of Sudha, a strong and independent divorce lawyer whose outlook on relationships and commitment differs from that of Chander (Vikrant Massey). Their relationship becomes central to the story as circumstances pull them apart and bring them back into each other’s lives. The show also stars Mahima Makwana, Adil Hussain and Saita Siddiqui in key roles.
About Ahaan Panday and Vedika Pinto’s upcoming work
Netflix has renewed Musafir Cafe for a second season. Tanya Bami, Series Head, Netflix India, said, “Musafir Cafe has captured the hearts of audiences all over. The conversations about the show have hijacked the Internet with debates about the ending and what lies ahead, the dialogues, the characters and the music. Romance as a genre, when done right, captures hearts and conversations as no other genre does. We are bullish about building this genre, like we built comedy for our members. And I’m happy to announce Musafir Cafe Season 2 will be an integral part of that slate. We can’t wait to take this tale of love and longing into its next exciting phase.”
Ahaan, meanwhile, will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s romantic action drama. The yet-untitled film also stars Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Aaishwary Thackeray in key roles. Backed by Aditya Chopra, the film is scheduled to release in March 2027.
