Dubai honour for Big B

Amitabh Bachchan to get the Lifetime Achievement Award at the sixth Dubai International Film Festival.

The sixth Dubai International Film Festival being held from Dec 9-16 will see a galaxy of Hollywood rubbing shoulders with their Bollywood counterparts.

While Amitabh Bachchan, who will be accompanied by wife Jaya and son Abhishek, will get the Lifetime Achievement Award, Hollywood star Gerard Butler will receive the International Star of the Year award from Variety magazine.

Others expected to grace the red carpet include Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, and Hollywood celebrities Omar Sharif, Christina Ricci, Mandy Moore and Matt Dillon.
