Actress Preity Zinta seems to be upset about reports that Shandar Amrohi's biography From Nowhere To Somewhere will tell all about his decision to adopt her and give her everything in his will. She says there's no truth in this news.
"No1 has or ever will adopt me or sign me in a will. Things said in interviews and reported are far from facts as the proof is in the pudding! (sic)," Preity, 36, posted on her Twitter page.
Shandar, son of late filmmaker Kamaal Amrohi, claimed to be Preity's adoptive father sometime ago, after she supported him in a case that he had filed last year in March against his sister Rukhsar and her son, Waseem, alleging forgery and theft of share documents pertaining to family property.
In an earlier interview to IANS, Shandar's brother Tajdar had said: "My brother (Shandar) considers Preity as his daughter. She is a blessing in disguise for us."
