The $100 note that American celeb Paris Hilton had given to a 22-year-old beggar, Ishika, on her recent Mumbai visit, was torn to shreds by Ishika’s brother-in-law.

He tore it up after other family members hit him and Ishika, demanding a share of the pie. “The note was destroying the peace of the household, so he did it in anger,” said Ishika.

The hotelier had donated $100 to the beggar woman she spotted along with her baby on the road.

Not being familiar with the currency, Ishika naturally had no clue how much the money was worth and asked, Iska chhutta milega kya? (Can I get change for this?)

Incidentally, this isn't the first time the lady has been this generous. A few weeks back, too, Paris was in France and tipped the local cab-driver a $100 (magic figure?) once again because she did not have the local currency.
