British actor Robert Pattinson revealed he once aspired to become a rapper in an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

British actor Robert Pattinson revealed he once aspired to become a rapper. "I used to want to be a rapper when I was, like, 14," he said during an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show.



When asked about how he learned to speak with an American accent, the 23-year-old Twilight star said, "I grew up watching American movies and stuff," reports accesshollywood.com.

Pattinson appeared on the show with his Twilight co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

The next instalment of the vampire series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, hits theatres June 30.
