Ram was spotted heading to the Gachibowli theatre to catch a screening of his dad’s MSVPG. Dressed in a checkered shirt and jeans, with long hair and a beard, Ram's look for his upcoming film, Peddi, was one of all smiles as he greeted his family. One video shows Peddi director Buchi Babu Sana, his sister Sushmita and his nieces greeting him.

Another video shows Ram posing for pictures with Sushmita, Varun, Lavanya, and MSVPG director Anil Ravipudi, along with a few members of the film’s team. He even shakes Anil’s hand and congratulates him.

A video taken by a fan inside the theatre shows Ram waving at fans and folding hands as they cheer for him and take videos. The actor was all smiles while watching his dad on screen, chatting away with Buchi and others during the interval. Upasana also took to social media to support her mamaya (father-in-law). Posting a clip from the film on her Instagram stories, she wrote, “It's a Mega Sankaranthi. Hearty congratulations.” Nayanthara re-shared her post.

Anil Ravipudi receives appreciation from TFI

Anil spoke to the press after the release of MSVPG and stated that he received calls from many filmmakers and actors from the Telugu film industry. He said, “Most happiest thing for me is that filmmakers I admire called me after the film was released. K Raghavendra Rao garu called me, as did VV Vinayak garu, who called me after the premieres. Vinayak garu is the first person I always call. SS Rajamouli garu also texted me last night, as did superstar Mahesh (Babu) garu. Nithiin, Manchu Manoj, so many others congratulated me.”

MSVPG was released in theatres on January 12 and has collected over 100 crore worldwide in two days. The film stars Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara in the lead roles, with a cameo appearance by Venkatesh.
