Sara has tried everything and the elegance and attitude that comes with her blessed genes makes her stand out among her contemporaries. Sara was recently spotted in the capital with Karthik Aaryan on a shoot for Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2. We love the chemistry but what really stood out was a gorgeous red dress that Sara was wearing on location.

Who doesn’t like a perfect red dress that one can wear on romantic dates, beach holidays or an evening party? Sara was seen wearing a stunning red dress which is ideal for a fashion minimalist. It is simple yet edgy, bright yet subtle. From the looks of it, the dress seems to be a part of a particular scene and we love the choice of pattern and especially, the colour.

Getting red right each time is difficult because even though the colour has a generic appeal, one can really go wrong in terms of styling it. There is a very thin line between red looking classy and red looking tacky and Sara has just got it right.

How to get the look?

Picking the perfect red dress is also not an easy job. Keep your body type in mind and the silhouette you would like to experiment with. Also, explore the red colour palette and find your favourite between a crimson red, cherry red, apple red, imperial red, chilli red, brick red and more and see how you want to wear it.

For accessories, keep it simple as red will be dominant as a colour in the whole look so don’t go overboard with accessories.

Wear minimal earrings, like hoops or even vintage stud earrings can work very well. Avoid heavy neckpieces and you can maybe stack jewellery on your wrist. In the footwear department, go for stilettos in faded gold, black or if you are a co-ord lover, go for red stilettos. Complete the look with a sling bag or a muted clutch. Keep hair open or you can also try out a neat or a messy bun.
