While the North City unit members led by its district president Rakesh Sonker, staged demonstration at Collectorate, the South City workers led by its district president Radhey Shyam Pandey, stage demonstration at Kidwai Nagar crossing.
A memorandum addressed to the President was also submitted to district administration officials. Condemning the terrorists’ act in various states along with the Mumbai blast, the BJP leaders stated that when the Union home ministry and Maharashtra Government had information about such acts then how it happened.
The BJP leaders said the way the attack was planned, it looked the handiwork of some anti-social elements giving patronage to these terrorists. The BJP leaders demanded to tighten noose around such people. The BJP leaders demanded the ouster of both the Union Home Minister and the Maharashtra Government if both had prior information about the possible terrorist attacks.
They said that since both the Union Home Ministry and the Maharashtra Government have failed to check such an attack, both should immediately be removed.
Earlier, the BJP workers took out a procession. Also present in the North City demonstration were Kiran Pandey, Anoop Awasthi, and Aarti Dixit while those present in the South city demonstration included Raghunandan Singh Bhadouria, Anoop Tiwari along with Radhey Shyam Pandey and other prominent leaders.
Yog Jyoti stages demo
MEMBERS OF the Yog Jyoti India on Thursday staged a demonstration in protest against serial bomb blasts in Mumbai at Gandhi Statue, Phoolbagh on Thursday.Addressing the meeting, Yogacharya Jyoti Baba said it was duty of every citizen to work for elimination of terrorism and for this unity was a must.
He said terrorism is a biggest hurdle in the country’s progress and those involved in this type of heinous crimes should be hanged.
Members of Yog Jyoti India also prayed for those killed in Mumbai blasts. Pradeep Vishnoi, Aalam, Kishore Rajpoot, Pawan Nishad and Vishnu Gupta participated in the dharna.
