The Ayurveda entrance examinations for session 2006-07 were held on January 21 after which allegations of misconduct were levelled by some examinees.

Taking cognisance of the allegations, the counselling of the selected candidates was postponed and a probe was set up.

The probe team had visited the Ayurveda College on Monday and now they sealed the documents.

The probe team also visited the office of the private company engaged in making results and took the computers into possession. It may be mentioned that the exam was postponed last year due to some administrative problems and was held this year. There are 24 seats in State Ayurveda colleges in Lucknow and Pilibhit for which the exam was held. Nearly 250 candidates took the exam.
