A call claiming a bomb had been planted inside a school created panic in Jaipur but later turned out to be a hoax.

The administration of St Soldier's school in Ashok Nagar recieved a call at 8.15 am claiming a bomb had been planted in the school premises.

Police were immedidiately called in and bomb disposal squad rushed to the site but found nothing after searching the premises for over than one hour, police said.

Panic stricken children called up their parents but were relieved after the call turned out to be a hoax.

This was the fourth such incident in the city in the past one month, a senior official said adding, schools have been advised to install caller-ids on telephones to check such incidents.
