While Chadha came dressed in a fitting red gown, the film’s lead actress, Goldy Notay, who had put on weight specially for the film, showed off her slim new look in a purple State of Grace dress.

But the star of the evening was British television actress Preeya Kalidas, who came in a pink lehenga, with glitter tattoos on her face and shoulder. Also present from the film’s star cast were Sendhil Ramamurthy and Jimi Mistry, among others. Shabana Azmi, who plays Notay’s mother in the film, could not attend.
