Recreate these glamorous looks from Euphoria
The show is loved by the masses for its brilliant storyline, aesthetic, and unique makeup trends. The Euphoria star is usually barefaced or made to look far rougher than she would naturally look. It’s one of the very few times that an effort is made with her appearance.
The show is loved by the masses for its brilliant storyline, aesthetic, and unique makeup trends. The Euphoria star is usually barefaced or made to look far rougher than she would naturally look. It’s one of the very few times that an effort is made with her appearance. She dresses up for an occasion and so the makeup is also allowed to shine – as compared to all the very striking makeup by all the other characters on the show, Rue rarely gets to go glam, but when she does, she does it right!! And in a very RUE way.
First look: Flawless skin
Moisturize the skin, apply an appropriate primer for your skin type, apply a sheer coverage foundation or a tinted moisturizer. This look is not about flawless skin, but you can conceal it if you need it. Use a loose power only if required / oily skin area or don’t use one at all, your foundation is a long-wearing formula.
Smudge a purple eye pencil on the eyelid and follow with a purple eye shadow. Smoke out the eye socket with a burgundy shadow & the under-eye as well.
Follow with the glitter of choice or a holographic glitter on the upper and lower lid and spray the area generously with a setting spray. Lips: your color of choice, lip balm, and matte lipstick - in this case, a brick red.
This look is a variation of the first, the only difference is that the glitter is concentrated under the eye and none above the eye.
1. The upper lid has a brick or burgundy eye shadow or smudged eye pencil in the same color
2. A very thin, smudged, tight line.
3. a) My first choice would be to use Aqua Seal in the area and then pat on the glitter.
b) Alternately you could use a moisturizer gel or even a very light coat of Vaseline applied with a cotton bud in the desired shape and then pat on the glitter.
C) Elmer’s glue liquid or stick (it’s nontoxic and water-soluble) in the desired area and shape, follow with glitter and spray generously with a makeup setting spray.
Sheer glassy skin, lip balm, and feathered brows. A plum or wine color eye pencil smudged, followed by a metallic liner close to the water line or minimal glitter makeup setting spray to set the glitter or wet the makeup brush with setting spray and then apply the glitter to the brush and then to the eye.
