MUMBAI: A 42-year-old man was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his Kandivali residence on Sunday.
MUMBAI: A 42-year-old man was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his Kandivali residence on Sunday.
Rajendra More was alone at his residence at the time of the incident. His wife had gone to her parents’ home along with his children.
More ran a paan shop in Rajendra Nagar at Borivli and stayed in Poisar, Kandivli (West) along with his wife and 15-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter.
According to preliminary investigation, the police have learnt that More used to fight with his wife often on trivial issues. More’s wife had gone over to her parents’ place for a few months. But she returned home hoping that More would have mended his ways and would live peacefully, said a police officer.
The neighbours noticed More hanging from the ceiling fan and they alerted the police. A police team from Kandivali police station rushed to the spot and More was taken to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
