Two more suicides rock Mumbai

A neighbour, requesting anonymity, said the teen’s mother had slapped her in front of everyone on Monday evening.

“Soor had some argument with a friend. Her mother had then slapped her in front of everyone. Don’t know if that incident had anything to do with her action,” the neighbour said.

In another incident, a 21-year-old welder with Mahindra and Mahindra allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Hanuman Nagar, Kandivli (E), on Tuesday.
