Australian pair of Melissa Wu and Alexandra Croak won the 10m synchronised platform final while earlier in the morning, the pair of Jennifer Abel and Emilie Heymans won Canada their first diving gold after scoring 318.9 points in the women's 3m springboard event. In the evening, Despatie had no problem defending his 1m springboard title, scoring 468.15 points in the final ahead of two Australians.
"Of course it's a nice feeling to win and it will help me prepare for London,” he said.
