Airport Express to travel deeper into Dwarka; Metro begins trials

The new Metro station will be the seventh one to come up along the Airport Metro Express, with the previous six stations at New Delhi, Shivaji Stadium, Dhaula Kuan, Aerocity, IGIA Terminal 3, and Dwarka’s Sector 21.

Rail agency fined 5.93 crore for damaging 990 trees in Delhi's Dwarka

A senior forest official said following the excavation, a hearing was held on June 8 and RLDA agreed to comply with any directions issued by the tree officer.

19-year-old shot dead in students’ group clash in Delhi’s Dwarka

Police arrested 19-year-old Sahil alias Monu, a resident of Nangli Dairy, later in the evening, and recovered a countrymade pistol that he used in the crime along with an empty bullet shell.

Residents claim trees felled for railway stn

Residents said that while work on the project has been ongoing for the past eight years, tree felling started only 10 days ago, with over 200 trees being axed since then.

Protest in Delhi’s Dwarka against upcoming Haj house

Protest leader Ajit Swami, who is also the president of the All Dwarka Residents Federation (ADRF), claimed otherwise and said it was the federation, which has over 300 villages near Dwarka as members, that led the protests.
