Honeytrap: Three held for extortion

Sirsa police have arrested three persons for allegedly extorting ₹40,000 from a Ellenabad-based man. The accused have been identified as Gurmeet Singh, Samrej Khan of Rajasthan and Rajender Kumar of Sirsa. The police said that a woman, Rano Devi, was the mastermind of the ‘honeytrap’ gang and was currently absconding.

Factory packing, selling counterfeit products of top brands busted in Mohali

Police on Thursday raided an industrial unit packaging and selling counterfeit grocery, cosmetics and other products and arrested the owner at Sundra village in Mohali’s Dera Bassi subdivision. A large quantity of spurious material was also seized. The owner has been identified as Krishan Kumar of Manimajra.
