A young male, a resident of Jyoti Nagar, who worked for a referral ambulance service in Delhi, was also confirmed positive, while two men from Sector 18, who run a self-finance company, came in contact with a Delhi-based coronavirus positive patient this week after he visited Gurugram for some work.

A case was registered against Dharmendra Giri (from GRP Agra Fort) and Aakash Pawar (from Intelligence unit in Agra) at the Kotwali police station for allegedly raping a woman from Kyrgyzstan who was living in India for the past 22 years after marrying a man in Bisawar area of Hathras, said cops.

The snake had taken shelter inside a pile of documents kept inside the almirah. The incident was immediately reported to Wildlife SOS on their 24-hour helpline number (+91-9917109666) following which the NGO dispatched a two-member team to carry out the rescue operation.

Jogendra Singh, 40, and his wife Chandrawati reached the police station around 10 am and poured kerosene on themselves. They set themselves on fire before anybody could respond. Within minutes, both were lying on the ground with their bodies on fire.
The body was recovered from an under-construction fire brigade building on Sunday night and sent for post-mortem, the police added.(HT image)
