Govt approves Ayodhya tourism facilitation centre

The state government has approved the construction of a tourism facilitation centre in Ayodhya, with a budget of ₹130 crore. The facility aims to boost international tourism in the temple town and will include an office, art and crafts centre, food court, ampitheatre, parking space, dormitory, and shopping complex. The government has allocated a budget of ₹146 crore for public infrastructure projects for the upcoming consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla.

Jatayu cruise service launched in Ayodhya

The air-conditioned two-floor cruise ship is 45-feet-long and 15-feet-wide, and has been built in Gujarat. From Gujarat, it was brought to Delhi and then to Ayodhya.

The cruise ship, which can accommodate around 70 passengers at a time, will complete its voyage in around one-and-half to two hours. (File)

Don’t have experts to carve out Ram Lalla’s idol using rocks from Nepal: Trust

On Saturday, experts and members of the trust concluded a discussion held to finalise the rock to be used for Ram Lalla’s idol from the available options i.e. rocks from Nepal, Karnataka, and Rajasthan.
