UP's Kanpur reports 123 Zika virus cases so far, active cases at 96

The first Zika case in Kanpur was detected on October 23 when an Indian Air Force (IAF) warrant officer tested positive for the Zika virus. The number of cases has increased over the past few weeks.

Zika outbreak in Kanpur: 13 more cases detected, tally reaches 79

“Zika virus infection is spreading rapidly in Kanpur. In this case, special caution is required. Arrangements have been made in all hospitals for the treatment of virus-infected people,” health officials in Uttar Pradesh said.
