‘Last African dinosaur’ found in mine in northern Morocco

Studies on the jaw bone of a fossil recently discovered in Morocco suggest it may have been one of the last dinosaurs living on the African continent. It was recently discovered in a phosphate mine in northern Morocco. Scientists say it comes from a time period around 66-77 million years ago, just before the asteroid impact that wiped out the dinosaurs. The fossil of the dinosaur seems similar to that of T.Rex.
