India seeks Pak's permission to start freight train service
India has sought the right of passage from Pakistan to start a freight train service to the Middle East and Europe, Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour said today.

India has sought the right of passage from Pakistan to start a freight train service to the Middle East and Europe, Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour said today.
India's request has been sent to the Foreign Office for necessary action, Bilour told a TV news channel.
According to the proposal, New Delhi is seeking permission to start a freight train service from India to the Middle East and Europe via Pakistan, Iran and Turkey.
Bilour said Bangladesh too had made a similar request for starting a freight train service.
