128 MCD officials booked since 2008
A total of 128 officials of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) have been booked on corruption charges since 2008, though no such case was reported in the first two months of this year.

A total of 128 officials of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) have been booked on corruption charges since 2008, though no such case was reported in the first two months of this year.
In the last three years, CBI and Anti-Corruption Branch of Delhi government have registered 64 corruption cases involving 128 officials of the civic agency and 48 of them have been suspended during the same period.
The highest number of 60 officials were booked in 2008, followed by 43 in 2009 and 25 in 2010, official figures show.
