The mercury touched a low of 11 degree Celsius on Saturday, 2.6 degrees less than Friday's minimum temperature, the Met Department said.

The minimum temperature for Friday was recorded at about 13.6 degree Celsius, while the maximum was about 25 degree Celsius.

The Met office said the mercury will further plummet in the next few days in the city and has forecast mist in the morning followed by a clear sky through the day.
