This time, a total of 8.6 lakh candidates took paper 1 and 0.46 lakh candidates took paper 2 exam. The overall attendance for the Engineering paper is 95.79 per cent, highest since NTA started conducting the entrance test.

NTA JEE Mains Session 2 Exam registration will begin today, February 7, 2023. Candidates can apply online through the official site of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

As per the press release released by NTA, a total of 256686 female candidates have registered for the exam out of which 243928 candidates have appeared for the examination this session.

A total of 20 candidates received 100 NTA scores in Session 1 in Paper I (B.E/B.Tech). All the top 20 candidates are male candidates and no female candidate has secured the 100 percentile this session.
