Kareena’s tribute to daddy

Daboo is what Kareena Kapoor had suggested to be the name of her character in Golmaal 3 as it’s her darling dad’s name and it relates with her chavanni chhap bindaas role perfectly.

Guess what Kareena Kapoor’s character in Golmaal 3 is called, wonders Safedi Lal, my dhobi, as she saunters in with my laundry. Don’t riddle me and come to the point, I order him. Daboo, he replies, lighting up.

He further elaborates that Bebo is playing a tomboy in her second Golmaal film with Ajay Devgn and it was she who suggested the name Daboo for her character, for emotional reasons.

Safedi claims to have heard from the Kapoor kudi that she’s sure it will prove lucky for her. He recalls her saying, “My Daboo in Golmaal 3 is a total chavanni chhap bindaas babe and I felt that Daboo was a perfect name for her. And I’m doubly thrilled because it’s my darling dad’s name.”
