The actor was invited as the judge and guest of honour for the Miss Guyana India Worldwide beauty pageant. The offer tempted her because a pageant was where she started her career from too, and a chance to add a contestant to the Miss World pageant excited her.

In LA, Tanushree was greeted heartily by the organisers as well as her fans, who welcomed her to the city. Bollywood aficionados questioned her about the actors back home and tried to get as much information as they could from her, which Tanushree was happy to oblige them with. Must say, Bollywood has growing fans in each and every part of the world.
